Lost! : A Day (Park Jongbin)

The first episode titled ‘a day’, which is about a person who feels that she is losing the time of a day. Jongbin considers the end of the day as the death of the day.

This Episode is about how to archive and reassemble the fragmented moments and memories of everyday life, and furthermore how to deal with the concept of past, present and future that implies the temporality of everyday life.

For this purpose, according to the previous appointed time schedule from morning til night, we first presented the seven scenes of daily life in different forms via live streaming, i.e., documentary, performance, video installation, and writing and so forth. And then we re-edited the entire video of this day-long performance, recorded for over an hour, into an 18-minute form of a desktop theater, which disrupts the temporal sequence and rearrange it in a kind of choreography. In this attempt, we tried to find a way how to recreate the notion of time.
